Exercise is medicine. It’s not a job for me. I GET TO!

Hey, y’all! Pull up a chair, but don’t get TOO comfortable, because I move pretty fast! 🤣 I’m Jenni Rom, 54 year old wife, and mom of two, who discovered late in life that I love BEING healthy (getting here was a JOURNEY), and I am passionate about helping others discover exercise and wellness too! Welcome to my “gym-folio!” I’m so excited you’re here!

In 2018, I happily “quit my day job” as a homeschool co-op literature teacher to pursue a career in the wellness industry, with a focus on holistic gut health, while radically overhauling my body. I had begun a weight loss journey in 2013, but I didn’t realize how much I’d have to adjust my mindset along the way. I gradually intensified from sedentary (doing a bunch of sitting, and in my case NO exercise), to walking to running (slowly), to yoga, to strength training. During that process, I realized there was a great need for modifications to adapt exercises to suit all types of bodies. That became my purpose—to give my clients hope that exercise can be accessible—and I LOVE it!

I became yoga instructor, then immediately got a specialty in adaptive yoga. I then became a certified group fitness instructor, then a personal trainer, and most recently, a cancer exercise specialist. All of the information these certifications have provided me, plus my attention to my clients, enables me to observe and assess where an exercise is unsafe or risks injury, and suggest a possible adjustment to make it more accessible. Wellness is the goal!

My passion is to help make movement available for everyBODY—because EXERCISE IS MEDICINE. And we might as well have a little fun along the way!
